At 48, I couldn’t look in the mirror, fearing the sick and dying creature that peered back at me. My goal was clear; transform naturally with a fit and  sustainable lifestyle and be free of all medication. Mission accomplished, yet the journey continues.

“Take this pill if you want to extend your life,” said the blank-eyed cardiologist. I was fat with borderline hypertension and elevated cholesterol. None of which existed a year earlier. Even as a vegetarian, my body was failing and needed a top-down adjustment to my lifestyle.

My fitness journey began later in life, at 49, allowing me to do things I once believed only belonged to the youth or the genetically gifted.

The process to a healthier life was simple; learn how to incorporate whole foods into my diet, be mindful of overall calories and making exercise a NORMAL routine.
